If you are like most homes you have 2 or three computers, maybe more if you count laptops, and there is a good chance that everyone wants to be able to be interconnected and hooked into the Internet. The Belkin Wireless Router is a great choice for today’s modern household if you want to make that happen in the quickest and easiest method possible.
You see the Belkin Wireless Router unlike a conventional hard wire router doesn’t require a lot of hard work to use. With a regular router you will need to get an actual cable run from every point in your home where a PC will be to the point where the router is, which is at the main PC. That means the PCs are wired in and they usually have to stay pretty much where you set them up unless you leave a lot of slack in the cable.
With a wireless system like the Belkin Wireless Router, you install a wireless card in the computer and it can go anywhere that is within reception range from or transmission range to the actual router. That means the laptop can be used at the pool to look up articles on sunburn, or the bathroom to check out a new body wash or the kitchen for mom to look up recipes.
If you use the Belkin Wireless Router to hook up the house you can move the big desktop PC from one side of the room to the other and just have to worry about the power cord and not the Cat 5 Ethernet connection. It will make things quick, painless and easy to do.
One thing to remember when setting up your Belkin Wireless Router system is that you might need to slightly adjust physical locations of either the PCs or the router for optimal use. The movement of only a few inches or from one wall to another can mean the difference of getting 100% signal or 25% signal.
You will also want to keep the computers that are linked to your Belkin Wireless Router away from things that generate interference. Like microwaves in the kitchen and hairdryers in the bathroom. Those kinds of things can play havoc with your transmission and reception.
Once you have decide to go with the Belkin Wireless Router and have all of your locations mapped out for the router and the various computers on your network you are ready to turn on and tune in and begin to enjoy the freedom of wireless web surfing and true wireless networking. Once you do that you may wonder how you ever managed to get along without using a wireless system because you life will be so much easier.
