Bird Watching Binoculars
By Anne Ahira
Bird watching is an event that some people take very seriously. They can tell you in the blink of an eye what the tiny speck singing in the top of that tree is.
Bird watchers are knowledgeable about the species they love but much of their information must still come to them through their eyes. For this, they require bird watching binoculars.
Bird watching binoculars come in many sizes and specifications and from a wide range of suppliers. You can spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars on these optics before you are done.
Of course like many things you get what you pay for, however that does not mean you are out in the cold if you would like to try bird watching and do not have a mint to invest in the process.
For a good value pair of bird watching binoculars turn to a name that has been built on outdoors and nature, Bushnell. This is a company that takes looking at nature very seriously, but from a budget conscious perspective. Take for instance the Bushnell Nature view binoculars.

Pros
Well when it comes to bird watching binoculars, it is safe to say they will not come any cheaper than this. At $43, you are paying hundreds less than comparable optics. If you are shopping on a budget these are definitely a good choice.
These bird watching binoculars are very simple to use, they come with easy instructions for adjustments.
Though these optics are advertised for bird watching, there are several instances when they could be useful. Sporting events and concerts are best viewed from front and center, of course that means shelling out a significant amount of money if you can get the tickets at all.
With these bird watching binoculars, you could enjoy the game or concert from the nosebleed seats and not miss a thing.
Cons
As you may have noticed in the features the words waterproof or fog proof were missing. This one aspect would have made these binoculars the bomb.
However for the price sacrifice had to be made somewhere. This means these binoculars will not be very sturdy under adverse weather conditions.
Bottom Line
Of all the choices, you will have in bird watching binoculars these are not the top of the line. They are however decently priced for the young or casual bird watcher. If you need an entry-level pair of binoculars these are a good place to start.
