Pros

This Brother copier offers lightening fast prints at a speed of 30 prints per minute. Of course, this is limited to black copies  only as you would imagine color prints will take a bit longer, but not much!

The Brother Copier / scanner combination comes with a flat bed design. This means you can scan and copy book or magazine pages with ease.

In addition, it has automatic duplex for printing double-sided prints. This means you have print options you may not have had with other models.

For instance, you can scan two pages and set it to print a single double printed page, or vice versa, you can take a double-sided print  and transform it into a single page print. It is all about options and this printer has them in spades.

The automatic document feeder is also a nice concept. You can load up to 50 pages to be scanned or copied while you get on with other important business. This is definitely a plus as time is money in any office.

One of the biggest expenses associated with printing is in ink or toner. The Brother Copier offers and impressive 3500 sheets per toner cartridge and 25,000 sheets before the drum must be replaced. This means less changing of these components and less out of pocket expense.

With its built in Ethernet capabilities you will be able to connect to a network wired or wireless for printer and copier sharing between office computers.

Cons

The estimated 3500 sheets per toner cartridge applies to the toner saver mode which will print or copy at about 300 -600 dpi. Not exactly high quality prints, however they may be fine for internal documents.

You can turn up the quality but you will reduce the total number of sheets you can get out of one toner cartridge.

Bottom Line

Brother copier is a good all around product. It has the out of the box potential to function well in any small office as well as expanding possibilities with the Ethernet networking option. A good little copier for the money.
