Pros

The word cheap comes to mind when thinking about this Brother Fax machine. Not necessarily cheap in construction or features but definitely a winner when it comes to price point.

Most fax machines will cost you upwards of $100; however, you can purchase this unit online for less than $60.

The copying aspect of this machine is good, nice clean and crisp copies. It is probably not a machine you would want to use to replace a current printer or copier as it will only copy in black and white, but for occasional use, it is fine.

Brother fax machine are advertised as easy to use with your home phone line, you can easily use the hand set on the machine to make or receive calls.

It will easily switch between the two uses allowing you to save money by having only one phone line. Of course in this day and age a majority of people are switching to cell service only so that particular feature may be obsolete soon, if it is not already.

The Brother Fax machine is small and compact. This unit will not take up a lot of space and is therefore perfect for light home use. It will fit easily on your desk and not hog the space.

Cons

This is not a high volume business fax machine. The Brother Fax machine is somewhat slower to send and receive faxes and the quality is not outstanding.

In other words, it is fine for home occasional use but would not be adequate for volume or times when a fax needs to be perfect.

Bottom Line

Just about, everyone will need to send or receive a fax at some point in his or her life. Or you may need copies of important papers need to be made for record keeping, purchasing a Brother fax machine for personal home use just makes sense.
