Creative Labs mp3 players are available in all sizes, colors and configurations. They have developed a 32 GB flash-based memory mp3 player that is sure to please many people.

Most mp3 players with large memory capacity are hard drive based. This means they are not a good choice for carrying to the beach or gym. The hard drive inside has moving parts and those parts can be damaged by excessive activity.

Imagine toting your home computer around, you wouldn’t do it one because it is too big but more importantly because it could damage your hard drive. The same concept applies to hard drive based mp3 players.

Therefore, Creative Labs mp3 players now come in a 32 GB flash capacity and there is a lot to love with the unit.

Features

  • 32 GB flash memory
  • FM radio with presets
  • USB 2.0
  • 2.5 TFT screen
  • Alarm Clock
  • 5 band graphic equalizer

Pros

More choices in music format are the first improvement you will notice in Creative Labs mp3 players. They were the first to offer support for unprotected AAC files. What that means is you will be able to use the tracks you ripped from ITunes on the Creative Labs mp3 players. You can also utilize other music subscription services like Rhapsody and Napster on the go. This is a feature you will not find in many mp3 players on the market today.

Need more memory than comes standard on Creative Labs mp3 players? Not to worry they have added a handy SD slot for memory expansion. Since this is a video player and only 32 GB, the added memory capability is a definite plus.

Other nice features include extended battery life of 30 hours while listening to audio files or 5 hours of video. That is a lot of media for one day, more than enough to get through your grueling workout!

Cons

Does not come with a power adapter, only a USB cord. A standard Motorola Razor home charger will work with this player and charges much faster than the USB.

Buttons are stiff in the beginning. It will take some time and use to loosen them up, after extended use, they do become easier to use.

Ear buds are below par as they are with most players on the market. Do yourself a favor, if you plan to use mp3 players much at all, invest in a quality pair of ear buds or head phones. You will save yourself a lot of aggravation if you do.

Overall

This is a nice compact mp3 player. In the past Creative Labs mp3, players have been a bit bulky but they have come around to the customer’s point of view and created a unit just bigger than a credit card. If you are in the market for any of Creative Labs mp3 players check out one of these sites:
