For these trips, you no longer have to depend on maps that never return to their original shape and are often outdated. You can now use a device like the Garmin 2720 and never be concerned about losing your way again.
The Garmin 2720 is what is commonly referred to as a global positioning system that uses satellites and or computers to determine latitude and longitude. All of that is just a fancy way of saying it knows where you are in the world and can map you a route to about anywhere you can drive.

Pros
This is one of the best GPS devices made by Garmin. The Garmin 2720 9 GPS device has a clearer map function than even prominent competitors like Magellan. Street names are easy to read and map navigation could not be simpler.
This unit has a text to speech function so that the directions can be spoken to you instead of you trying to read and drive at the same time, it’s not safe don’t try it! Along with being able to audibly tell, you a turn is coming up the Garmin 2720 will also say the name of the street or point of interest.
Did you miss that left turn back there? Do not worry the Garmin 2720 is ready for just such an occasion. It will recalculate your route and give you updated instructions based on your destination. What could be easier than that? Moreover, the Garmin 2720 will not even berate you for not stopping to ask directions!
Included in the Garmin 2720 are preloaded maps of the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Anywhere you can feasibly drive to is able to be mapped with this GPS device.
If you do not want an unsightly windshield mount for your GPS, Garmin will take care of that too with their handy beanbag dash mount option. In fact, if you are traveling around the United States you may want to use the beanbag even if you like a windshield mount since they are illegal in many states, such as California.
Overall
If you are planning to take a trip, purchasing a Garmin 2720 is probably a great idea. Things change over the years and even if you are going somewhere you have been before streets change and new bypasses are put in. Stay up to date with a new GPS device and enjoy traveling not getting lost!
