This will allow you to set proximity alerts that will warn you of upcoming POIs.

If you are going to be traveling abroad, the Garmin StreetPilot c340 comes with a SD card slot, thus it will be extremely easy and convenient for you to add any optional maps. You will never again be lost with the c340.

If you are like every other driver on the road you greatly dislike traffic jams and wish there were a way to get notification of them before you’re stuck in the middle of one. Well, you can now avoid those traffic jams through your Garmin StreetPilot c340 with the simple addition of an FM TMC traffic receiver coupled with traffic services. When you add this to your c340, you will be notified of accidents or even some road construction prior to reaching them. You simply have to touch the screen and then you can view the traffic details and even recalculate your route to avoid those traffic jams.
