Klipsch Promedia 2.1
By Anne Ahira
Today people spend more time in front of their computers than almost anywhere else.
It only makes sense that with all the multimedia rich content you have a good set of speakers on your desk so you can get the most out of your experience.
Enter the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 system with its satellite speakers and subwoofer.
Klipsch has always been noted as an industry leader when it comes to sound and the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 system pays homage to that legacy by giving awesome and rich clear sound to any desktop and at a price most people find attractive.
If you have spent your life listening to the sound produced by the factory speakers shipped with your system. The volume will literally blow you away and clarity you hear from the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speaker system from the very first time your ears hear it will have you drooling in your seat.
The Klipsch Promedia 2.1 is a three-piece speaker system yielding a full 200 watts of power to make the competition melt away. It is fully THX certified so the sounds area phenomenal.
You will get a full 32 to 20K sound reproduction and it hooks up quickly and easily to any two channel sound card or anything with a standard 1/8-inch mini jack. In other words, it should be able to be hooked to almost computer and / or anything else in the current audio universe.
Not only is the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 system a great and functional piece but it is a good looking speaker system on top of that so you won’t want to hide it behind everything else and may want to have it setting out there loud and proud.
The volume and tone controls are located on the right front satellite speaker so you can easily control what you are hearing above and beyond the software controls from your PC player.
You will find that while the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 system is fairly simple to hook up and not full of a lot of flashy controls and neat little whistles and bells, it is going to be a welcome addition to your multimedia experience and you might just find yourself spending more time at the computer because the sound you get there may well be better than what your are getting from your bigger, more expensive home theater system.
The Klipsch Promedia 2.1 will make a believer out of you because it is straight forward and to the point. It has a headphone jack for when you want to listen in private but it is however currently only available in 120 volt versions so make sure that you have the correct voltage and current to run it.
