Mp3 players are available in pocket size, not so pocket size and minis. One brand you may not have heard much about is the Cowon. They make several mp3 players including some highly rated mini mp3 players.
The iAudio 6 made number one in a side-by-side comparison with other mini mp3 players. This South Korean based company made an impact on the mp3 world in 2006 when they introduced the first ever player with a 22 mm hard drive. The iAudio 6 also drew a lot of attention for a new control system called “swing touch”. mini mp3 players like this one do not come around every day.

Pros
As you can see, they have packed quite a lot into mini mp3 players. The player does what it was meant to do, play music, videos and images. One thing these mini mp3 players do that others do not is allow for direct transfer of photos from your digital camera to the device.
Compact size, the Cowon iAudio 6 measures 3 x 1.4 x .75 and weighs a mere 2.2 ounces. It is a bit thicker than the thinnest IPod; however, it is more than comfortable in your front pocket.
Extreme battery life, these mini mp3 players have tapped into a top secret at 20 hours the battery lasts at least three times as long as the nearest competitor has. Unlike many mini mp3 players, this one actually fulfills the promise of the advertisement when it comes to battery life; most are doing good to get it half-right.
Cons
The downside if any of these mini mp3 players is the size of the screen. While the player is capable of playing video the screen is so small they are uncomfortable to watch. Videos do look great they are just small!
This mini mp3 player is a fingerprint magnet, of course that will not hurt the functionality but it is a minor irritation to some and a downright annoyance to others. Get a sleeve for this unit if you are going to be using it very often.
No word yet on how the hard drive holds up during excessive activity. It is very small you might even say miniscule but it is still a hard drive with moving parts. As a rule, these are not great for workouts or jogging.
Overall
Tiny mini mp3 player with many features at a competitive price. Can you beat that anywhere? Shop for this or other Cowon mp3 players at Amazon.
