If you want a top of the line home theater system for your living room, a digital movie projector is the ultimate option.

You can find these new movie projectors at your local electronics store or shop conveniently online and have one shipped to you. These make an alternative to a big screen LCD or plasma screen television.

The movie projector takes your system to a whole new level, giving you what could be the ultimate home movie watching experience.

Before committing to a movie projector, there are some things you must consider. The first and most important is: do you have room? The movie projector set up requires a large amount of unobstructed space and there is no way to use it in the wrong space.

In fact, if you have your heart set on a movie projector, it is best if you can design the room around the projector set up. This means deciding what model you are going to purchase before building or remodeling the room that will house it.

It may be difficult to integrate the projector into a living room, so the ideal situation would be to have a separate room just for movie screenings.

When the image quality is not critical, the projector can be used to project the image on a clean white wall, although the best quality comes from using a proper screen.

The nicest home units are heavier and will be more or less permanently installed in the theatre room opposite the screen. One advantage is that they are far less expensive than a television with a comparably sized screen would be. If your space will allow, the digital movie projector would be a great addition to your home theatre.
