While many of the digital MP3 players on the market offer 1GB or 4GB hard drives, that’s small change compared to some of the models you can find.

If you have some intense music storage demands, you might be interested in some of the MP3 Player 30GB on the market. Below is an overview of some of the top sellers.

Apple iPod

If you’re wondering what you would need 30 GB of storage for, the answer could be movies and television shows.

These are now available for download through the iTunes download store so you could load up this MP3 player 30GB with quite a few of them.

You can also purchase games, enjoy podcasts, and listen to almost 7,500 different songs through this model. Interestingly enough, the iPod MP3 Player 30 GB was replaced with a newer model in the latest round of Apple upgrades.

The newer version has a hard drive that is four times larger! Unfortunately, the battery life is still quite low on this model. You’ll need to recharge after 3.5 hours of video viewing or 14 hours of music listening. With a price tag of around $200, the model can be a big pricey, too.

Microsoft Zune

As the closest competitor to the Apple iPod, the Zune also offers a 30GB model that can meet the needs of consumers who want to take their digital pleasure everywhere they go.

Like the iPod, the Zune is capable of holding videos, photos, and music. Like almost any MP3 player 30GB, you can add your files quickly via your computer through a music management program unique to the Zune.

The company also has its own online store where you can purchase music if you simply don’t have enough music to fill up the entire hard drive. One different is that the Zune does come with an FM tuner so you can also listen to the radio when you’re on the go. The price tag for this MP3 player 30 GB is comparable to the similar sized Apple model.

Archos Wifi Portable Media Player

This MP3 player 30GB may have a massive hard drive and price to match (at almost $300) but it focuses less on the music and more on the video footage.

One of its biggest bragging points, besides its massive touch screen, is its ability to download content on the fly using a WiFi connection and the built-in content portal. The hard drive is capable of holding 40 full-length films, 15,000 songs, and 300,000 photos which means you could literally take your entire digital library with you everywhere you go.

Because of the WiFi connection, you also use the Archos MP3 player 30GB to access the Internet and stream content right onto the player while also letting you access the Internet.

Overall, no matter which MP3 player 30 GB you purchase, you’ll have plenty of room for all of the files you could possibly want to include on them and that makes them more versatile than some of the smaller hard drive models.
