Full Review

Different music lovers and audiophiles are after certain features to enjoy their music experience to the fullest. Some are after the style and sociability while others want something where the music is easily accessible.

Sound quality is another important factor that heavy listeners want. The mp3 player Creative manages to provide that excellent audio quality and combine that with a very simple interface.

In addition, it sports a large 2.5 inch TFT color display, yet maintains a small size that makes it easy to carry around.

What makes this mp3 player Creative sound better than other models and brands is the impressive bass effects that can be noticed when playing thumping tracks. The 3.5 mm headphone jack makes it even better so you can use your favorite good-sounding headphones to keep up with the beats.

One of the things that is missing however is a volume control so you’ll need to rely on the interface to turn things down. There is an easy to access power switch that you can hold to turn off and a mini-USB port for easy transferring of music.

The mp3 player Creative also has a nifty SD expansion slot which can accept SDHC cards that can span up to 16 GB which is a fine addition to the existing 4 GB of memory that the mp3 player Creative has.

As a video player, videos play out really well with clear visuals and little signs of pixilation and the sound quality maintains its top notch performance. Some people looking for a lot of styles may not like this portable media player very much because it comes only in one color – black.

Although the interface is very easy to navigate, the controls and buttons aren’t very comfortable for pressing and may hinder the experience slightly. Still the overall sound quality is enough to recommend this player to anyone wanting their music to sound better to their ears.

Product Summary

The Good

The mp3 player Creative has excellent sound quality with impressive bass effects and is backed up with solid performance and easy navigation.

The Bad

The screen is a fingerprint magnet and the buttons and controls don’t feel so well when being pressed. The mp3 player Creative isn’t very stylish either since it comes with just 1 color – black.

Bottom Line

Although this mp3 player Creative isn’t very stylish compared others, it’ll serve you well if you are after the audio quality and interface alone. It’s an impressive and small device that comes out strong despite some issues with the buttons.
