Creative has been manufacturing quality mp3 players for quite some time and customers have been thrilled with most of the products on the market.

They come bundled with drivers and Creative Media source, a media player responsible for synching and transferring files made exclusively for the mp3 player from Creative Labs. Some of the later models are also sporting Play For Sure certification.
An mp3 player from Creative Labs is natively compatible with Windows while current models are exclusively compatible with XP and Vista. If you have an older computer running an earlier version of Windows this could be a concern.
Mp3 players from Creative Labs also have built in FM radio tuners in most models. This one feature has been the deciding factor in many customer purchases.
With all the availability of downloadable music, you would think this was a non-issue however, studies and reviews have concluded it is very much an issue with mp3 users.
Many models of mp3 player from Creative labs have been discontinued. Increasing technology and functionality have rendered players such as the Zen Nano, Touch and Mico obsolete.

Customers of the Creative line of products have largely been satisfied. Some of the discontinued models got less than rave reviews, probably another reason they are gone, but overall people have been happy.

The moved forward and beat their own record with the 32 GB flash player. Creative is constantly working to improve both hardware and firmware to make their players the best on the market.
