Pros

The first thing you will notice about this Portable TV DVD player is the size of the screen.

Most portable DVD players have a 7-9 inch screen; this one comes with a whopping 15-inch LCD screen. The picture quality on this screen is truly remarkable even when compared to a regular size television.

Anytime you squeeze a lot into a small package some function suffers, and when it comes to portable TV DVD players that something is normally sound.

However, Toshiba found a way to make a portable unit with great sound, even though the speakers are quite small.

Normally size also limits the number of ports a manufacturer places on a portable unit. Not so, with this Toshiba, there are more than enough ports to hook up to all the devices you can think of and then some.

Cons

With such a large screen it is a given that this portable TV DVD player was going to suffer some portability issues. That however is in the eye of the beholder; the unit is more than capable of being carried in a laptop case to ease portability.

Some customers felt the unit was still to clunky and heavy, so you see it is all in personal preference.

Price is definitely on the upper side of wow. Used this portable TV DVD player is still priced at $699 on Amazon. That is a lot of money for a portable device to be used on trips or outing.

Customers have given the Toshiba portable TV DVD player mixed reviews. The majority found the set to be nice and perform well.

However, one customer did complain about picture quality and weight of the product, since this was one customer only you have to wonder if they simply got a bad player and would have had a better experience if it were replaced.

If you want to take, a great portable TV DVD player on your next outing the Toshiba could be the model for you. A super large screen and good audio make it a top of the line choice; of course, the current price reflects this position.
