When making a decision on purchasing a projector there are some things to consider such as the Projector mount.

This will allow you place your projector virtually anywhere. When looking at a projector mount for your projector you want to remember one very important thing.

All projectors produce a large amount of heat so first and foremost you want to make sure that it is a well ventilated area.

As well as, when choosing a wall mount, it needs to be one that will not be flat against the projector.

There are three basic types that you will find in a projector mount, a ceiling mount, wall mount and a surface mount. Each of these provides different angles in which to mount your projector in your home or office.

The first step is to look at each of there qualities and what would best suit your needs. Next know what you want the price range to be. A projector mount can be expensive. There are even high tech projector mounts that can be concealed in a wall or ceiling and then be extended out by a motorized arm or track when in use.

Ceiling projector mounts are among the most popular. They are very convenient and out of the way. However, one thing to consider is the weight of the equipment related to the structure and capacity of the ceiling.

You want to make sure that once it is up there it will not come down unexpectedly. Also making sure that nothing will obstruct the view of the projector.

Same goes with a wall projector mount. With a wall projector mount, it is usually placed in the corner of a room up towards the ceiling. When installing a wall projector mount you want to make sure that you secure it to a wall stud as well as, check weight capacity of mount.

If your projector is too heavy for the mount it could bend or break the arm of the mount. The Vantage Point CGUPM12-B is light weight and is great for use as both wall and ceiling projector mount. This can be purchased online at Amazon.

The table projector mount is by far probably the easiest to install. However, there are far more things to consider as far as position and amount of traffic. When considering this type you want to make sure that the location will not have traffic that could damage the projector.

Also making sure that the projection is high enough to project the image clearly without obstructions. The Vogel’s EPT6520 is a wonderful table projector mount. It is universal to fit nearly all types of projectors and it is also on a swivel.

This allows full range of motion for the projector. This can also be found at Amazon along with several other types of projector mount.
