If you’re trying to find a gift for the music lover in your life, there are a number of reasons to consider purchase an RCA MP3 player. While RCA may not be the first name you consider when thinking of these digital mp3 players, they certainly have plenty to offer which would make them an ideal choice.

Lots of Choices

When you think of a RCA MP3 player, different things might come to mind but chances are you won’t imagine all of the different choices available. For example, the company does produce standard portable mp3 players, including the Pearl, the Opal, and the Lyra. A video version of an RCA MP3 player is also available on the Jet and other models.

However, you might also want to think about a different type of RCA MP3 player. The company makes bookshelf and home theater systems that double as MP3 players. You can also find units that mount under shelves for use in the kitchen that come with MP3 player docks so you can enjoy your favorite tunes, charge up your player, and kick a meal all at the same time.

When you start looking for an RCA MP3 player, you’ll also discover that you have quite a few size choices to consider. Depending on the model you want, you can find portable mp3 players on the small size at 512 MB up to 8 GB for a couple of the models which also support videos. There’s also a large number of 1 GB to 2GB players.

Why does it matter? Well, not everyone needs a player with that much storage nor do they want to carry around their entire music libraries. Smaller memories tend to also mean smaller, more compact players as well. The bottom line is that when you get an RCA MP3 player you can get exactly what you want and need.

Extra Features

Of course, disk space is not the only thing that matters when it comes to an RCA MP3 player. You also want to look for other great features. For example, the RCA Pearl 1 GB player doubles as a digital voice recorder and has expandable memory thanks to a MIicroSD card slot. That means it could be a great choice for a college student who wants to listen to music but also needs to record lectures.

Some of the Jet brand of RCA MP3 player have extra features for fitness enthusiasts. Besides being able to listen to music and the radio (thanks to a built-in FM tuner), this player doubles as a stopwatch and pedometer. Plus, unlike many of the players on the market, this model was designed for the demands of the workout, including being made of sweat resistant material.

If you are tired of always having to worry about cables or dock adapters when charging or synching your favorite device, this RCA MP3 player takes care of the problem. The Pearl had a built-in, flip-out USB connector that makes updating the library easier than ever.
