Although we’ve already got plenty of televisions in our home, my parents decided it was time for them to upgrade to something a little larger and more modern. Their 27 inch CRT television just isn’t cutting it anymore.

So we headed to the nearest electronic store to check out the deals and see some picture quality before heading home to place our order online. It’s the best way to save money on any kind of purchase.

What most impressed me, however, was just how amazing the picture was on each of the Samsung television models available on the floor. Then I found out there are plenty of other good reasons to invest in a Samsung television.

Positive Reviews

I’m not alone in thinking the Samsung television is one of the best choices on the market. One of the models listed at Amazon, for example, had 209 5-star reviews. I don’t know if you realize how few electronic products get those high of reviews on these sites but when you see numbers like that combined with almost no negative reviews, you know that you’re making a good choice.

Among the reviews people frequently commented on the amazing picture quality of the televisions. And that’s because the Samsung television includes some features designed to improve the picture quality.

As you may know, one of the weaknesses of LCD technology was its inability to create a deep enough black color for most of the images. However, Samsung went back to the drawing board and has improved this aspect of the picture immensely. Now the colors and the distinctions between them are sharper and more vibrant than ever before. Only the Sony models come close to matching it.

Lots of Features

When you’re buying a Samsung television, however, you’re also buying tons of amazing features. TruSurround audio is one of those features. Let’s say you decide to put the television in your bedroom where you don’t have a home theater system. Don’t worry.

The sound quality is still going to be phenomenal because TruSurround mimics surround sound that normally requires four or more speakers to achieve. Without adding any additional speakers to your television, you’ll feel as if your surrounded by them.

Some of the Samsung television models also have built-in flash memory. Now if you’re wondering what in the world you would need flash memory for in your television you can always check out the pre-loaded content to find out. The models come with cooking recipes and programs for children as well as other content. All of it can be enjoyed on your television screen.

Prices

While there are lots to love about the Samsung television, one of the best parts is the price. Among all sizes and styles, these models continually have the lowest or one of the lowest retail prices on the market. Considering the features that’s impressive. My parents finally purchased a 32 inch Samsung television with 720p resolution from Amazon for only $550, for example.
