Play for sure technology indicates that the Sansa 1 GB mp3 player will play back your music every time. Watch for the logo at download sites like rhapsody, Music Match and Napster.
Transferring music is a snap, or a click as the case maybe. You simply plug your Sansa 1 GB mp3 player into your computer via the USB cable or port. Your computer will recognize it as a storage device from there you simply open a window with your favorite music files then drag and drop them into the player. No complicated software to use, just save and go. Remember to use the safe to remove hard ware tool in your task bar when you are finished to protect your player from damage.
Removable batteries are a plus in anyone’s book, the biggest complaint you will find among other brands is the non- removable battery. Consumers like the ability to keep their music flowing at all times and when you cannot change the battery you are stuck waiting for the unit to charge.
Cons
Even the best product will have issues for some individuals. The Sansa 1 GB mp3 player is no exception. The first issue you will notice is the size of the navigation buttons, they are tiny. That coupled with the small display may be an issue for some users.
Early release of this product, 2006, had many issues with the screen freezing when the unit was first powered up. Out of 900 customers, roughly, 150 had this issue but it was all in the first couple of years. Recent comments indicate that this is less of a problem and has an easy fix when it does occur.
Customer Ratings
Most customers rated the Sansa 1 GB mp3 player very well. Over 500 hundred people on Amazon had little or no trouble with the player. Sounds as if over time the bugs have finally been worked out of this lightweight mp3 player.
Overall
The Sansa 1 GB mp3 player is a small player with easy to use interface. It will not hold thousands of songs like some of the hard drive based players, but at 16 hours of playback time, it should be sufficient for the casual user.
