If you are looking for an inexpensive MP3 player, the RCA MP3 Lyra player is a great choice.  RCA MP3 players come in a wide variety of styles and prices, but the Lyra is one of the best.

It will give you the ability to listen to your music wherever you go and many of the models also have expansion slots for additional memory.  This allows you to store as much music as you want on the memory cards that you purchase.

The RCA MP3 Lyra players have a nice little design that is not too big and can be carried virtually anywhere.  It comes with a belt clip that will allow you to wear it while working out or just going for a walk.

The Lyra RD1080 also comes with a built in radio so you can listen to live radio instead of your recorded music.  The devices only require two AAA batteries and this particular model is the best looking of their latest designs.

To control the RCA MP3 Lyra RD 1080, there is a button that functions in the same way as a joystick.  It allows you to go between tracks and even turn on the radio feature.  The LCD on the device also allows you to see the artist, the title of the track and a number of features about the particular track that you are listening to that can be useful for the operation.

Some of this information includes the volume, the time elapsed during the playing of the track and the bit rate.  You will also be able to check your battery life from the LCD as well.  This can be especially useful if you plan to be out with your RCA MP3 player for a while.

One of the nice features is the ten presets that are on the FM radio function.  This allows you to pick out your favorite stations and program them right into your RCA MP3 player.  The other features for listening to MP3s include, play, repeat, random play to get a good selection of the music on your player, program, and an equalizer.  The equalizer on the RCA MP3 Lyra is preset and you will not have the ability to customize it.

The software that comes with your device is the MusicMatch Jukebox.  This will allow you to manage your music and download your MP3 files.  The music is transferred from your computer to the device with a USB connection.

The RCA MP3 Lyra player is a great inexpensive player to allow you to listen to your music on the go.  You can select your favorite music and keep it stored on your player or you can change it as often as you like.
