Some people may not want or need such a large screen and therefore need to know details of smaller models like the Toshiba LCD TV 26 inch.
This little set is a perfect size for the bedroom, home office or even the RV, who doesn’t like to watch TV while camping?
Besides what better way to keep the kids quiet while on a road trip than a television and movies or a video game?
Pros
The Toshiba LCD TV 26LV47 comes with a built in DVD player and tabletop stand. When compared with other televisions of similar size the stand was a needed improvement.
Toshiba LCD TV stand was much sturdier than the competition and screwed directly into the panel. No way a stiff breeze is going to knock this TV over!
LCD is leading the pack in HDTV because of its high resilience. Unlike its plasm counterparts you will have no issue with screen burn in or premature aging of the pixels. Dollar per inch you get as good if not better picture these days with LCD and the Toshiba LCD TV is no exception to this rule.

Overall, this set is perfect for rooms that receive lots of light and are to small for larger Toshiba LCD TV’s. The average customer rating gives the Toshiba LCD TV a four out of five stars.
Cons
There is very little about this television that anyone found negative, however the one small problem is it has only a rear connection location. For people who have become accustomed to front ports, this could be a bit frustrating, but not overwhelmingly so.
Price
The initial price for the Toshiba LCD TV could be considered a con, however since many were very impressed by the quality that will have to remain a personal decision.
When the Toshiba LCD TV first hit the shelves, it weighed in at a hefty $750, about 25% higher than competing sets. Over time however, this price has come down some and you can now purchase a refurbished unit on Amazon for nearly half that.

This reviewer was highly impressed with the HD capability of the Toshiba LCD TV and was further delighted with the picture quality of analog channels.
That says a great deal about the quality of this set. When a 720 can compete with a 1080p television, you know you have found fantastic quality.
